My Daughter Nehashyaa is celebrating her 6th Birthday today!

She is a gift from Goddess to guide my path! She was born in our family during the most difficult season of our life and her presence to this world became a present to us since she was born on 12 Feb 2015.

Women Empowerment has been one of the heartwork of ImproShare Global and most of our working partners have been women, who have expressed their hidden potential with a purpose.

Everytime when I look at my daughter I think to myself that she is my beautiful princess. She needs to know, see in me and live by knowing how powerful she is. I am also Grateful that she is a gift that I have got to directly influence on making a positive impact among girls and women to remember that they are neither less nor more than the other. Every time she hugs & kisses me, she teaches love & compassion to me with her beautiful smile!

Another reason for me to continue calling my daughter as princess was, I had a coaching client who wanted to be & feel like princess when she was small but her circumstances didnt allow her to continue feeling the same and as an adult she struggled to feel it as it was replaced with a feel of trauma. My sessions lead my client to understand that she still has a chance to give permission to herself to feel what she wants to feel and that's the moment she found her own self in the process. Since then I made it a point to call my daughter as princess for her to experience that love, joy, empowerment and happiness, so that she dont have to feel she is small but she is bigger than what she thinks she is.

Today one of my friend shared this beautiful message and this just spoke to my heart. Got out of my desk to reflect & write this blog for my daughter while re emphasising this message to her, so one day when she looks back she would know that she is a Princess and she doesnt need anybody's permission to do or be what she wants to do or be. She can conquer whatever she wants, likes, loves....

"Behind every beautiful life, there has been some kind of pain. You fall, you rise, you make mistakes, you live, you learn. You’re human, not perfect. You’ve been hurt, but you’re alive. Think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, and to chase the things you love. Sometimes there is sadness in our journey, but there is also lots of beauty. We must keep putting one foot in front of the other even when we hurt, for we will never know what is waiting for us just around the bend. Nobody else can do it for you. – Keep doing what you know in your heart is right for YOU. Let your dreams be bigger than your fears and your actions louder than your words. Live by choice, not by chance. Make changes, not excuses. Be motivated, not manipulated. Work to excel, not compete. Choose to listen to your inner voice, not the jumbled opinions of everyone else. It’s your road, and yours alone. Others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you."

With Gratitude,

Your Loving Mom
